Cure for the Monday Blues

So its Monday!!! I had an interesting weekend. I had my orientation on Saturday at 9am but it only lasted an hr. The guy giving me my orientation really wanted me to start on Monday so today will be my official orientation, Im so nervous. I did get to spend some time with muffin, but not nearly as much as I would have liked. I really hate his new work schedule because during the week I never see him and on the weekends I see him until 6pm when he leaves for work. I just hate it.

Saturday after Mark left for work I was smoking outside alking to Anthony about conspiracy theories and super natural things that we have heard of and then we decided that we wanted to go ghost hunting one day. So later on after Rochelle cam over we all decided that we would go ghost hunting, it was spooky but alot of fun and I wish that Muffin was there to protect me when I was super scared. We got home a little after 3am and I wanted to stay up to wait for Muffin but that was a total fail. Sunday Katherine came over and we hung out for a bit went out to dinner and then I looked at wedding stuff after she had left. It was uneventful, I just wanted Muffin there.

So today things that are making my Monday morning

                    1. Amy Winehouse

Her death was a sad one but she did leave us with some amazing and soulful music, so I will dwell on the good and not on all the negativity that everyone else is dwelling on. She was beautiful and her music will not be forgotten. I have been listening to her all morning and I feel good

  

2. The 27 Club

I know this is morbid or weird but I like to think that even though these amazing artists died at such a young age they are out there jamming together and having a ball. Now Amy Winehouse is there to join a big rocking party

4. I never want my children to worry about their weight or develop any type of eating disorder and that is why I have been trying so hard to practice good healthy eating habbits

This was such a mind fuck of a movie and too see a little kid dressed up as a droog I think is quite adorable

Ugh ive been missing him like crazy. Even though we argue and bitch at eachother I cant imagine him not by my side. I love him and I will always love him, forever and ever.

weekend update

I had the best weekend ever. I'm really starting to enjoy my weekends as of lately. Mark and I have been trying to save money but its proving to be harder than we thought. This weekend was just us hanging around each other all weekend.
I guess I shall start with Friday. Friday my mom and I had planned on going to see bridesmaids, but unfortunately we didn't get to. You see my mom loves to double book herself and sadly she had promised a friend that she would go to his graduation party. So we went and we just couldn't leave when we wanted to because I felt weird just coming to his party to chow down and then leave directly after. that would just make us look awful so we stayed till the end. Luckily it was a lot of fun. There were free drinks (which I didn't drink) good food and gambling. After the party I was missing my love muffin so I decided that I would stay the night at his house. I got to his house and changed, crawled into bed and the cuddlefest began... then I was out like a light.
Saturday... Saturday we woke up early because we had an appointment with the apartment complex Ive been drooling over. We got to the apartment complex early and went through the tour and Mark and I have decided that this will be our future home!!Its called Northgate Oaks and here are a few pictures of the complex we toured which will be the one that we get.

After that we went to eat at Waffle House to have a deliciously greasy breakfast. Waffle House is totally Yummmm and I ate all of my big breakfast, every last bite. Afterward we got things ready for Chessy's baby shower and he even helped me make my baby burritos and then we longed around for a bit until it was time for me to go to the baby shower. It was a lot of fun. I finally got to see Chessy preggers and by the way she totally looks adorable, she has the cutest preggers belly ever!!! We ate delicious pin wheels, cake balls and they even had a delicious raspberry mint punch. We played the fun baby shower games but they has some cool ones where we had to catapult bathtowls in the shapes of frogs ontp Lilly pads and we painted frogs.

I loved it it was alot of fun. Afterward Mark and I came back to the apartment and chilled for awhile until it was time to go back to his house.
Sunday... we woke up and I started the laundry and we watched "Its always sunny in Philadelphia" Its become one of my favorite shows it is just too funny!!! We went to the Mall to go look for jeans for me. I wish it was easier for a big bottomed girl like myself to find jeans. It was a struggle but I did it and I couldn't of done it with the help of my ever so patient loving sweet sweet fiance! Afterward we ran some errands and then came back to his house, ordered a pizza and watched Garden State. I had forgotten how much I loved that movie and it was such a great movie to watch with my love muffin!!!
This was my weekend and I am loving the normal simple lifestyle we have been living :)

My fabulous cousin

lately I have been feeling so frumpy and ugly and I needed a beauty boost. The problem is that none of my girl friends ever have time to hangout with me anymore sooooo I made my cousin go on a girl date with me. We had loads of fun. Our first stop was Eagle nails in Atascosita. I hadnt had a pedicure in forever and since I had been such a good girl and paid off 7 credit cards out of 8 that I had I decided to treat myself. So I picked up my cousin and we went to go get a pedicure. Luis is my favorite cousin in the whole wide world! Why? Because he is just so open minded about everything. He got a pedicure too, he did a strictly manly clear polish pedicure and guess what he loved it!!! The best part is that his feet no longer look like hooves they are soft and pretty no callouses, freakishly long toenails or sand paper like feet. I love him we are definately doing this again.

After our pedicure we went right next door to go get a delicious tapioca milk tea and headed out to go see Red Riding Hood!!!

By the way it was actually a pretty good movie Amanda Seyfried is so hot and as Red Riding Hood foret about it!!!! loved it.

Then we ended up going to my apartment and then shopping for apartment stuff which is alot of fun because even though Ive been living there since October it still doesnt look like MY apartment at all. So we bought some stuff to decorate and make me feel a little more at home.


After all of that we  decided to go have dinner at one of my many favorite restaurants Barnaby's and then go for a late night walk and just talk talk talk and that was a really good night with my cousin!!!
